Welcome
Welcome to Ranitomeya.com!
Update:
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone.
Lots going on here with American Frogday just around the corner. Our breeders are just picking up from their summer rests. We plan on having all sorts of vents (now called variabilis and amazonicus) next year - Rio Napo, Borja Ridge, Iquitos, Red vents and French Guyana as well as Southern, Old and New line traditional variabilis.
For next year, aside from a couple new species lines, the focus will be on expanding our existing groups of certain species by holding back offspring and trading. We started this year with Highland lamasi (sirensis), uakarri and reticulata with the goal of stabilizing the frogs in the hobby and getting these frogs into the hands of more keepers. We should be able to offer quite a few reticulata and uakarri by the end of 2012 because of this. Next year we will continue the Highland lamasi project and start working on the old line of copperhead fantastica. If there's room we will also be holding back a good number of other fantastica group frogs this year. If you ever need to get rid of Ranitomeya frogs, please let us know. We are happy to purchase/rehome thumbnails so that their genes aren't lost to the hobby.
Availiable Frogs:
The available frog list has been updated and while there's not much new there are still some great frogs available and some first time offerings on the way: Bajo Huallaga imitators and Orange Lamasi.
We combine shipping with Chris Alcock @ Pure Bred Dart Frogs, so you can get tincs and thumbs all at once, or get a group of locals together to go in on an order together.
Online Info:
You can find me(Chris) on DartFrogz.com as Aurotaenia, Dendroboard.com & Dart Den as Chris Miller and on Twitter.com as Terribilis.
